Eleanor Hart
Chartered financial planner focusing on retirement income sequencing and State Pension timing for households leaving work within a decade.
About the practice
Thamespoint Financial Counsel began as a small advice desk helping neighbours near Buckridge Lock make sense of workplace pensions after career changes. We still keep meetings unhurried and paper trails tidy.
We explain charges before we explain products. Recommendations are written so a partner who missed the meeting can still follow the reasoning. When a solicitor or accountant is the better next voice, we say so plainly.
Our work sits inside UK financial advice and consulting: pensions, ISAs, protection, mortgages, and estate conversations that touch tax allowances. We do not manage discretionary portfolios or promise investment returns.
People
Clients work with a named adviser through discovery and recommendations, not a rotating call centre queue.
Chartered financial planner focusing on retirement income sequencing and State Pension timing for households leaving work within a decade.
Mortgage and protection specialist who compares total remortgage cost and maps cover against nursery fees, mortgage debt, and workplace benefits.
Leads investment portfolio reviews with an eye on charges, ethical preferences, and whether old active funds still earn their keep.
First contact is a short call or email exchange to confirm we are the right firm for the question. If we are, you receive a fee proposal and a document checklist. Meetings happen by video across Great Britain or face-to-face at our St. VonRueden office.
Advice is personal and regulated. We keep file notes, explain conflicts where they arise, and invite questions after you receive written recommendations. Many clients return years later when a fixed-rate mortgage ends or a second pension unlocks.
